The magnetic pin connector on the TRIPLTEK 9 acts as a direct power supply, placing the battery in idle mode, so the battery will not charge.
The magnetic pin will maintain the battery level, even when the T9 is using power to run GPS navigation apps at maximum screen brightness.. This ensures that when the TRIPLTEK 9 is used in very hot weather, the battery will remain cool.
When the T9 connects for the first time, it will play a notification sound, but the charging indicator will not light up even though the T9 is receiving power from the cable. This occurs because the battery enters idle mode, causing the charging indicator on the TRIPLTEK 9 screen to remain off.
